Preparing Your Family for Eternity
Reporter:
“Why did you want to speak with us today?”
Voiceover:
“I wanted to be honest. If I died today, my soul would be lost. That’s hard to say out loud. But I don’t want my family—or anyone’s family—to face death unprepared, the way I am. If sharing my story can help them, it’s worth it.”
Reporter:
“Did anyone ever prepare you for this? Or warn you?”
Voiceover:
“Jesus prepared His disciples. In Mark 9:30–32, He told them He would be delivered to men, killed, and rise again. They didn’t understand, but He still warned them. He prepared them.
No one really prepared me. But I don’t want to repeat that mistake.”
Reporter:
“So what does that mean for your family now?”
Voiceover:
“It means being upfront. I tell them: I’m not saved. I am not ready for eternity. But I want them to be.
That honesty may sound harsh, but it’s love. If they know where I stand, they can learn from my failures. They can choose Christ, even if I did not. And maybe that choice will spare them the pain I feel today.”
Reporter:
“Do you think others should do the same?”
Voiceover:
“Yes. Even if you’re not right with God, you can still prepare your loved ones. You can still tell them: Don’t follow my path. Learn from me. Be ready.
That honesty could be the greatest kindness you ever give them.”
Reporter:
“What do you want people listening to do right now?”
Voiceover:
“I want them to prepare. Prepare themselves, and prepare their families. Don’t leave them in the dark.
If you need help starting that conversation, call xxx-xxx-xxxx today. (use https://timelesstalks.net/contact/) Because when death comes—and it will—you want your family ready.”
Reporter:
Why aren’t you doing something about it yourself?
Voiceover:
I think I will. I will text them right now. x-x-x—x-x-x—x-x-x-x
